I was 12 years old when I first saw this anime. And during that time, this kind of art is already appreciated by kids like me. For me Bloodberry is attractive because of her red hair and shape.

Well the story is kind of nice especially for those who are geeks like me. Why? Because in the story, the world is populated by only men. Terra II is a world far from earth. THE THING is these surviving men have invented and developed androids, half robot and half human in a FEMALE FORM. Now that’s perfect! The equipments of those surviving men could not support to create genetically modified females. So they created marionettes. Terra II's survivors created  androids which physically resemble females and will fill up certain roles in the society, mostly as companions for men. However, these androids don’t have emotion like the real ones. (Now that is sad T.T)  But Otaru, the protagonist of this series, have a different kind of android. Yep! Androids that he has have emotions and are like real!!!

Chrono Crusade is one of the anime’s I watched that has a very very good ending for me. (Touched my heart ^^) although it has 24 episodes only, this is one of the short anime series that I like.
Story goes like this, Brooklyn, 1924  is a time of prosperity, indulgence and degenaration, and the division between rich people and poor grows even wider in the wake of the World War I. A fictional group called the Order of Magdalene / Order of Magdala, has developed pretty nice weapons and have trained groups of nuns and priests to fight evil forces, Sister Rosette Christopher, is the Protagonist. Also her partner Chrono , a demon who is always with her. What a nice combination huh? I will not mention about the whole story because as I have mentioned , it is short, so I do not want to spoil your moment watching this anime to see the good ending that I am saying a while ago.

When we think about an arrogant and bossy character, whose anime character could you think of?... uhuh… who? No, I’m not referring to your fat, short and bald boss. Bwahaha I’m talking about the opposite of those characteristics. Well for me, Hanamichi Sakuragi is one of the anime characters who is really funny, and has a strong personality. This is a hit to all anime fans who also love basketball. It doesn’t only talk about basketball but it gives emphasis to friendship, passion, and determination to what you are doing. Hanamichi maybe a comedian in this anime series and manga, but he definitely showed the importance of his friends, basketball, and… and… studies…. Oh no! did I mention studies? Erase that! Haha I am really happy to see rukawa and sakuragi boasting each other about their skills. I will not give the story here because I want you to see it. If you did tell me your thoughts about it.

Before I forget. I also like the opening and ending song. It rocks! ^^ hehe

Who said that    t the LOTD (Lord Of The Rings) trilogy is has the most dramatic scene when it comes to killing support characters? We I watched Lord Of The Rings last night again that is why I am using it as my springboard hahaha. Well, you kill Gandalf on the first installment of the movie while saving Frodo from the Demon, and Boromir while saving two other hobbits from the orcs. Well, that is kind’a sad ‘coz you are expecting that Power Rangers (Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Boromir, Gimli) will guide Frodo to destroy the Ring. But it all comes down to the Fantastic Four (Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli) to guide him. ANYWAY, I felt the same way when I watched this anime, Fushigi Yuugi: The Mysterious Play. Why? Because in the series, support characters and heroes/guardians were killed just to protect Miaka (protagonist) . Now that is dramatic as you watch it, and you won’t go over it that easy =’c

Let me give you an overview about the story, Miaka and Yui were Best of Friends and want to pass the entrance exam in Jonan Academy. Miaka was pressured because some people think that she would not make it, until she knew that Yui will be entering in the same Academy too. She became inspired in short. While in the library, Miaka and Yui found  a special book “The Universe of the Four Gods.” Yui was transported into the novel’s universe and met Tamahome one of the Celestial Warriors and character in the book. Yui was sent back to her world immediately. In the Novel, Miaka on the other hand, discovers that she is the Priestess of Suzaku and destined to gather all other 7 Celestial Warriors including Tamahome. (Now that’s a love triangle) If she could do  this, she will have the ability to summon Suzaku and make 3 wishes. Yui the Priestess of Seiryuu eventually wants to have her revenge. Why? Time for you to find out…

A very very good anime. Really!

This anime made me enjoy my afternoon right after work. I was always in a hurry to get home because I want to watch Maid Sama. Of course I want to hear the opening song ^^ I am tired from work and teaching my students but this made me relaxed everyday ^^ But when the season was over, I was a little sad. But hey, I can still see this right? Just need to buy a copy. Hehe Anyway, Maid sama is a story of a girl who acts as a working student. Ayuzawa Misaki, is the president of the student council, works in a coffee shop after school, and a man hater. She doesn’t want anyone from school to know that she’s working in a coffee shop but one day, Usui and some other school mates recognized her as their president. Misaki was in trouble when Usui saved her. From then on, Misaki and Usui agreed that it will be their secret. What’s in exchange you may ask? Well it’s for you to find out. But for me this is a really cute anime.

I don’t know if it’s Valentine’s Day already because this is the second time in this week that I will be reviewing an anime about that “L.O.V.E”. Alright here we go; Vision of Escaflowne for me is one of the anime’s that made me give the last song syndrome after watching it. Yeah! Even if it’s a Japanese song! I really admire the musical scoring of this anime. So, I downloaded it.

Ok, here’s a bit of the story. Hitomi was transported to the world of Gaea, a planet where you can see Earth and its moon in the sky. (Now it’s like Final Fantasy XIII as I visualize it^^). Earth is called the Mystic Moon in planet Gaea. Hitomi could see the future from visions and has the ability to read tarot cards. Cool huh?! This ability of hers increased while on the planet. Eventually Hitomi and the pilot of the Escaflowne met and had a special connection. Which I find it romantic ^^

Let’s take a break from all of my previous posts about gorgeous girls of anime and let me take to a different anime genre. Well nothing really different but it’s an adventure, sci-fi anime for kids and teens which is really educational. Time Travel Tondekeman is an anime series that will invite you from the modern world to the ancient or medieval times which is really a big part of world history. Pretty interesting isn’t it? Even my mom watched it haha.

Hayato is one of the protagonists in the series, a teenage boy who loves soccer, and his girlfriend Yumi, a teenage girl who loves music. In the series, they visited Dr. Leonard’s lab and accidentally activated a funny and talkative kettle Tondekeman who has the ability to transport them from present to the past. So in short they got separated for a while. They met in Baghdad and reunited but they got separated from Tondekeman. As they travel, they met a lot of interesting people, Aladdin, Prince Dandarn and Princess Shalala. They also met Abdullah who is interested to kidnap the princess so that he could marry her to his master. These people continues to travel in the past and meet several historical and literary figures as they chase Tondekeman from the possession of Abdullah.  Interesting anime isn’t it? ^^
