Hunter × Hunter

Hunter × Hunter this a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi (Wow! Such a talented person!). Gon, the shows lead, discovers that his father he had always been told was dead is in fact alive.  He learns that his father, Ging, is a legendary "Hunter”. Knowing this, Gon decided to follow in his father's footsteps, pass the "Hunter Examination", and eventually find his father to become a Hunter in his own right.

Well for me, it has a good story. From Gon looking for his Dad and meeting some allies during the examination, then giving some emphasis to Kurapika’s goal, which is to kill the Genei Ryodan members, (Gon’s friend, my favorite!) and Killua’s family background. (Pretty nice!)

Though during that time the animation was not that advanced, you will appreciate the story and the moral lesson of course (it’s about friendship). Well don’t forget about my favorite member of Ryodan of course hehe, Shizuku (really smart and pretty with her glasses ^^)

This has nice action scenes, but I will not recommend this one for under 13 years of age.

Flame of Recca

Recca Hanabishi is a 16 year old student who dreams to be a ninja since childhood,.  until a fateful encounter revealed that  he inherited ninja powers(well, from his “ninja Dad ofcourse!”), including the ability to control fire (and include those heck of FLAME DRAGONS)! Recca learns to master the ancient ways of his ancestors, he is drawn to protect a mysterious girl named Yanagi, a girl with the innate ability to heal any wound/injury, because of her kindness and compassion …
Some old man with scary, freakin’ crazy looking eyes wants to become immortal, and he learned that Yanagi might have the ability to make his dream come true, so he opened up a fighting tournament, to get Yanagi as his prize if Recca will be defeated in the tournament.

As the story goes by, (anime series) It will make you hooked to those dragons who could he control as the tournament goes by. And ofcourse, don’t forget Fūko Kirisawa . She’s one of the reasons why me and my friends got hooked in this anime series. Hehe watch it if you wanna know the reason why! hehe
